USA wins over Spain 2-0! And advances to the Confederations Cup final with one of the Americans’ biggest soccer victories.

Altidore scored in the 27th minute and Dempsey added a goal in the 74th as the Americans became the first team to defeat Spain since Romania in November 2006.

Next they will play defending champion Brazil or host South Africa on Sunday in their first-ever men’s final at a FIFA competition. The U.S. has three full days to prepare for the final.

Spain takes a 2-0 victory over South Africa and equals Brazil’s record for 35 undefeated matches and break the 15 consecutive win record.It was not easy for Spain to beat South Africa, who qualified for semifinals in spite of their defeat. Spain played with an alternative squad and missed many scoring chances.

Spain scored their first goal at the beginning of the second half. David Villa put his team ahead seven minutes after the halftime, and in minute 27, Fernando Llorente’s goal sealed the 2-0 victory for Spain.
