It was an uneventful game, until Crew coach Robert Warzycha pulled striker Steven Lenhart from the bench and into the game in the second half. On the 58th minute, Lenhart scored the first goal giving the Crew team the lead.

 

On the 79th minute, Robbie Rogers closed the deal with the second goal.
