With the final score at 0-0, Iraq fails to reach semifinals at Confederations Cup.  New Zealand took control over the match during the first half, which ended scoreless. After halftime, Iraq improved their game and attack over a New Zealand that focused more on their defense. Yet, as hard as the Iraq team tried, they could not reach victory.
